Green Heat Network Fund (GHNF) Application Support
Client: Gren Energy Ltd.
Project Overview
Cleantech & Energy supported Gren Energy Ltd. in preparation and submission of a Green Heat Network Fund (GHNF) application. The design was developed for a new heat network taking heat from an existing Energy from Waste plant, supplying heat to a nearby new build development and existing commercial customers.
The work included:
RIBA Stage 2 design report
Capital and operational cost inputs
Techno-economic model inputs
Delivery programme
Risk register development
Other supporting information including Market Transformation Commitments, innovation strategy and future expansion note.

Heat Recovery Solution
Client: PRIZMA SIA
Project Overview
Cleantech are developing an integrated technical solution for heat recovery at the VOLVO Ice Arena, aiming to utilise waste heat from the refrigeration system for on-site heating needs and to supply surplus heat to the district heating network. The initiative also includes preparing a funding application for the modernization of the refrigeration system.
As part of this project, Cleantech is carrying out the development of an energy consumption model, a technical and economic feasibility study, the design of the heat recovery solution, negotiations with the district heating operator, and the preparation of all necessary documentation for funding.
The VOLVO Ice Arena comprises three ice rinks and a separate hotel building. Currently, heating is supplied via an individual substation connected to the district heating network. Based on initial assessments, we believe that the entire heating demand of the Ice Arena could be met through recovered waste heat from the refrigeration system.

Specialist Due Diligence and Technoeconomic Assessment for Project Investment Case
Client: Vattenfall Heat UK
Project Overview
Cleantech & Energy scrutinised an existing heat network and developed designs to integrate a 100% fossil-free heat generation solution in just 12 weeks, to support the investment case the new project.
